During the conversation, held at the initiative of the Serbian side, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of political and trade-economic cooperation.

 

 

 

 

The leaders expressed mutual interest in strengthening business ties and implementation of joint investment projects in the areas of industry, agriculture, transport and logistics.

 

 

 

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Aleksandar Vučić also exchanged views on a number of topical issues on the international agenda, reaffirming their readiness to continue constructive dialog on ensuring sustainable development, promoting global peace and security.

The President of Serbia invited the Kazakh leader to visit Belgrade.

On April 8, 2023, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic.

During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, humanitarian and tourism fields were discussed and the parties expressed their interest in further development of relations in areas of mutual interest.

 

 

 

The interlocutors underlined the importance of using possibilities of bilateral mechanisms, in particular the Tajik-Serbian Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation for expanding and strengthening multifaceted cooperation between the two countries.

The parties also focused on issues of cooperation within the framework of international and regional organizations, as well as supporting the global initiatives of Tajikistan.

No: 270, 28 August 2022, Press Release Regarding the Agreement Between Kosovo and Serbia on Border Crossings With ID Cards

 

 

We welcome the agreement reached between Kosovo and Serbia on border crossings with ID cards. We hope that the parties will agree on other matters, especially on license plate issue, at the earliest.

As it would be remembered, the tension rose in the north of Kosovo on 31 July due to arrangements on ID cards and license plates, then Kosovar side postponed those arrangements for 30 days. H.E. Mr. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye talked on the phone both with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Serbia on 31 July to defuse tension. Türkiye has also continued to call on parties to act with restraint.

Türkiye, as a Balkan country, attaches utmost importance to maintaining peace and stability in the Balkans and supports resolution of problems through dialogue, as well as initiatives to this end. Türkiye will continue to strive to maintain peace and stability in the region.
